Nuvoboot is a free, ad-free app for preparing boot media when your computer cannot start. The first engineering release focuses on Android, with a separate, limited iPhone workflow.
Android
The engineering code imports and inspects disk images, obtains permission for a compatible USB drive, writes it, and verifies by reading back. Hybrid Linux ISO and raw IMG files are candidates, subject to image and device checks. A separate experimental Windows engine prepares a Ventoy/exFAT image and has passed file-backed tests with an ISO larger than 4 GiB. Physical USB boot testing remains pending.
iPhone
The iPhone app downloads and inspects images and keeps the latest in-app download available for reuse. File extraction supports compatible Windows images and the specifically verified Kali Installer 2026.2 image onto a prepared FAT32 drive. That Kali path requires UEFI x64 and does not support Secure Boot. The app does not format USB drives or write raw sectors. UDF-only extraction and WIM splitting are not supported. A TestFlight build is available to invited testers; physical boot compatibility is not guaranteed.
Compatibility is evidence, not a promise
This product is not yet available in either app store. Public release preparation and store review are in progress. There is no in-app billing or subscription. No universal device support, boot success rate, performance benchmark, or store approval is claimed.
